After-Hours Pediatric Telehealth Care with Hello Pediatrics!

At Cornerstone Pediatrics, we know children do not get sick on a schedule. That’s why, when we’re closed, we’ve partnered with Hello Pediatrics—a telehealth service staffed by Board-Certified Pediatricians—to provide expert care right from your home. 

This means no unnecessary trips to urgent care or the ER.

If your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency department.

If you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis:

For routine or non-urgent matters, please contact us during regular office hours or message us via your child's Patient Portal.

For example:

• 🍼 Questions about infant care, feeding, sleeping, development
• Minor illness/concerns that can wait until we are open
• 💊 Medication refills or dosage questions
• 📆 Appointment scheduling or rescheduling
• 📄 Forms for school, camp, or sports

We’ve partnered with Hello Pediatrics to provide expert telehealth care when our office is closed—so you never have to navigate your child’s illness alone.

Your child will be seen by a Board-Certified Pediatrician through a secure telehealth platform. After the visit, we receive a full report including:

• Symptoms and concerns
• Exam findings and diagnosis
• Recommended treatment and follow-up

This allows us to maintain continuity of care in your child’s medical home.

Weekdays (5 PM – Midnight) Pediatric Telehealth

Weekends & Holidays (12 PM – Midnight) Pediatric Telehealth

After Midnight (365 days/yr) Nurse Triage by Phone (Pediatric RN) 

• A Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) will guide your next steps
• Based on the concern, you may be
  • Scheduled for a telehealth visit
  • Referred to the ER or Urgent Care
  • Advised to follow up with us during regular hours or our portal

💵 Fees:

• $5 PCC coordination fee (if no visit occurs; not covered by insurance)
• $15 Pediatric RN triage fee (after midnight; not covered by insurance), fee will be waived if your child is advised to go to ER/UCC for evaluation
   

• Connect from your phone, tablet, or computer
• Discuss symptoms like fevers, rashes, colds, vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye, minor injuries and more
• Receive diagnosis, treatment plan, and prescription (if needed)
• We receive a detailed visit summary the next business day

💳 Visits are billed to your insurance, subject to copays, coinsurance, and/ or deductibles.

Hello Pediatrics also offers 365 night phone support with 

Pediatric Registered Nurses:

• This service is available every day, after midnight
• Includes a $15 nurse triage fee, not covered by insurance, fee will be waived if your child is advised to go to ER/UCC for evaluation

📌 For concerns that can’t wait, but don’t quite need an ER visit after midnight.
